compass
Compass, introduced by General Lyndon Buckingham, is a framework designed to guide The Salvation Army into a brighter future. People are central to the mission, with an emphasis on helping them understand and contribute effectively. The mission, given by God, focuses on preaching the gospel and meeting human needs without discrimination. By understanding this divine purpose, The Salvation Army trusts that God will guide them through future challenges. The organization is committed to being excellent stewards of all resources. Their goal is to ensure the Salvation Army remains healthy and flourishing for future generations. This vision sets a clear path for continued growth and impact.

Pakistan Territory Strategic Plan 2026 - 2030
Financial Sustainability
We aim to achieve financial independence and long-term sustainability by encouraging responsible
stewardship, including tithing, and by practicing sound financial management. In addition, we will
focus on holistic community development by promoting education, technical training, and
entrepreneurial skills to reduce reliance on external funding.
Discipleship
We will develop and strengthen theological education at all levels to equip Soldiers and Officers for
faithful and effective service.
Growth
We will focus on expanding our mission outreach by establishing new Corps and reopening. This will
be guided by a comprehensive assessment of mission potential in key areas, including Social Centres,
Community Development Projects, and Rehabilitation Centres for individuals with physical challenges.
Relationship
We will develop new partnerships and enhance existing social relationships with government
officials and other churches across Corps, Divisional, District, Institutional, and Territorial levels. This
effort aims to establish a strong network of professional connections that will support The Salvation
Army Pakistan in advancing its mission objectives, community development projects, growth
initiatives, localization goals, and long-term sustainability.
Leader-development
We will strengthen the capacity of Salvation Army Officers, Local Officers, and Community Leaders
in Pakistan through targeted training and refresher sessions focused on effective succession planning,
leader development, management skills, and the principles of integrated mission.
